Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Ingredients
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon minced onion
10 ounces fresh spinach - rinsed, dried and torn into bite-size pieces
1 quart strawberries - cleaned, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup almonds, blanched and slivered
Directions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Cover, and chill for one hour.
In a large bowl, combine the spinach, strawberries and almonds. Pour dressing over salad, and toss. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Wow those really look great. Just wondering are we allowed to replace the spinach with lettuce, because I myself am not really a fan of spinach, so I would like to replace it with something more tasty to me. Also sorry, but what is Worcestershire, I have never heard about it, and what makes it special compared to other things. On top of the spinach/lettuce, what do the strawberries do and do they work with anything else? Also are we required to have the paprika/vinegar. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks!

You can replace the spinach with lettuce because I don't like spinach either. I haven't heard of Worcestershire, so hopefully someone else will come answer it for you.

Nice. I plan on replacing the spinach but not sure about lettace. I don't know if anything makes Worcestershire special I think its just a spice.
